Not many people are aware of this, but cheerleading is a competitive sport. In that same vein, they can get just as intense during performances—after all, the key is to intimidate the competition. Just take this photo as an example, she’s just as intense as a footballer or an angry coach.

The cute outfit and ponytail don’t make it any less scary, it only adds to it. This is one cheerleader we’d be glad to have on our team—we just have to remember to stay on her good side. We wouldn’t want to end up on the flooring should she get really mad.
