TINA LOUISE
Tina Louise is a popular TV actress who was famous for her role in CBS’s comedy series Gilligan’s Island. She portrayed the role of Ginger Grant, a movie star who loves to dress-up with incredible and stunning outfits. This role etched Louise’s name as one of the impressive celebrity personalities during the ‘60s. After it ended in its season three, she would then accept more serious roles and veered from the comical atmosphere that the sitcom gave her. In 1975, she landed roles for The Wrecking Crew and The Happy Ending.
Although Louise has not completely rested from acting, she started declining offers to appear in reboots of the sitcom. She is the last surviving member of the cast since the majority have already passed on. Aside from acting, Louise has also reached a certain degree of fame in modeling. She has appeared on the covers of Playboy and Modern Man. Today, the New York-based actress is still an active Hollywood personality as well as an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
