SALLY TODD
Sally Todd started out as a model. Her transition to the film industry was not surprising, considering how lovely she was in addition to her shapely figure. Her road to fame began when her mother encouraged her to join a local beauty contest in Tucson, Arizona, where she was born and raised. While there, she also studied drama, though she never got a degree. She moved to California in 1954, where she got a job modeling clothing.
She eventually became Playmate of the Month in the February 1957 issue of Playboy. Among the other men’s magazines, she was featured in were Focus, Brief, Bachelor, and Sir Knight. Todd was finally discovered by a 20th Century Fox talent scout. She appeared in a handful of entertaining low-budget movies like The Unearthly and Frankenstein’s Daughter. Todd is now 86 years old, living in Big Sur, California, and running an antique shop.
