KATHRYN CROSBY
Kathryn Crosby graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Fine Arts in 1955. Despite being more than thirty years his junior, she married the singer, actor, and comedian Bing Crosby. The couple had three children: Nathaniel, Harry, and Mary Frances. Crosby became focused on being a wife and mother and partly withdrew from acting after her marriage.
However, she still took on a few roles in films like The Night the World Exploded, The Brothers Rico, and Gunman’s Walk. She also had her own talk show in the ‘70s and sometimes had her husband on as a guest. After Bing’s passing, she informally retired from the industry. Decades later, she appeared in her last film role was in the 2010 film Queen of the Lot. For over 10 years, she hosted the Crosby National Golf Tournament.
