LESLIE CARON

Leslie Claire Margaret Caron started with musicals before branching out into acting. The French actress and dancer was in several critically acclaimed musicals which showed her depth as a talented artist. She was a part of the musicals An American in Paris, Daddy Long Legs, Lili and Gigi. An American in Paris continued to soar high and eventually won six Academy Awards. She became a dark horse in the industry as she proved to be versatile, acting in drama and non-musicals films like Gaby, Father Goose, and Fanny.

During the late ‘60 to the ‘70s, her fame was slowly fading which made her go back to her country roots and focused more on European films, where she has seen taking on more substantial roles and doing more roles with maturity. She also became a jury member at international film festivals and used her investment money to open a restaurant in Paris.
