Michael Forest

Michael Forest is an American leading man who rose to fame in the 1950s. Arguably, his most notable role as a TV and film actor was when he played Apollo in Star Trek in 1967. He was born as Gerald Michael Charlebois on April 17, 1929, in Harvey, North Dakota but immediately moved to Seattle. The actor has a degree in English and drama from San Jose State University.

Aside from live-action movies and series, Forest has also done voice acting work during the later years of his career. He has worked on several anime such as Gatchaman, Mermaid Forest, and Street Fighter II V. After almost half a century since his performance as Apollo, Forest reprised his role in Star Trek for the “Pilgrim of Eternity” episode of the web series Star Trek Continues. He will turn 92 years old this year.
