GEORGE HAMILTON

George Hamilton started his career in Hollywood in late in the early ‘50s with a movie role in Lone Star. He juggled acting with schooling and was able to graduate from Hackley School in New York. He first appeared in television shows before getting bigger roles in the movies. Hamilton is known for his dashing debonair look complete with his trademark tan, making him one of the sought-after actors during his time. Media company MGM studios took him as one of their talents to where he received a long list of movie roles.

Under MGM, Hamilton was noticed in the ‘60s movies Where the Boys Are and The Victors. During these times, Hamilton was able to gain recognition for his acting including a BAFTA nomination and two Golden Globe nominations. Making use of his popular tan, Hamilton made wise money management strategies, pursuing business endeavors by launching tanning salons. He established the George Hamilton Skin Care System and the George Hamilton Sun Care System. Hamilton also ventured into co-authoring books Life’s Little Pleasures and Don’t Mind If I Do or do I.
