FABIAN FORTE
Singer Fabian Forte started his singing career at age 14. He was signed into Chancellor Records as a teenage idol. The young star gained national stardom for his several performances for American Bandstand during its three-season run in the ‘50s. For a decade, Fabian was able to put 11 of his hits in the Billboard Hot 100, which proved that he had gained many fans his age. When he reached 18 years old, he decided to call off his contract and focused on acting. Some of the movies he worked on include Hound-Dog Man, Five Weeks in a Balloon, and North to Alaska among others.
Now at 78 years old, with $24 million sitting in his bank account as a result of his decades-long work, Fabian has all the time and money in the world to enjoy his retirement years. He can even just wait for the return of investments of his business endeavors. However, the man still has a lot of energy in store as a performer. His love and passion for singing and acting seemed to have not waned even a little. He continues to make brief appearances in musical reviews in Missouri with fellow ‘50s teen stars.
