DIANE SAWYER – US GOVERNMENT STAFF MEMBER

Besides watching shows and series, more than a few TV networks have made investments in news programs. With that said, one such figure that gained recognition for her job as a broadcast journalist is none other than Diane Sawyer. Through the years, Diane has had the chance to work for programs such as ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, and 60 Minutes. Before she made her way into the news broadcasting scene, however, Diane worked in the world of politics.

During her early years, being a fresh graduate and all, Diane worked a couple of jobs before making her way into the White House, starting out as the deputy press secretary’s assistant before becoming a staff assistant. At that point, she had the chance to write a few of at-the-time president Nixon’s statements. After the end of his tenure, Nixon and Diane collaborated once more for the former president’s book, RN: The Memoirs of Richard Nixon.
