MICHELLE KWAN – POLITICAL AMBASSADOR

More often than not, achieving one’s goals is easier said than done, but that surely didn’t stop Michelle Kwan from accomplishing hers. At five years old, Michelle already developed a love for ice skating after watching her older siblings practicing on an ice rink. Not long after, she began her training in the sport, as well, and eventually made her way into competitions. Since then, Michelle has taken credit for winning two Olympic medals, nine US championships, and five World championships.

Along the way, her popularity landed her more than a few side projects, such as endorsement deals and even a voice-acting gig for a minor character in Mulan II. Since retiring from the skating rink, Michelle has shifted her focus to more political matters, notably as an ambassador in the US government. With the fame she’s garnered from her ice-skating career accompanied by her overall likable personality, it’s safe to say Michelle is a natural for this line of work.
