Jessica Simpson – Fashion Designer/Entrepreneur

We were first introduced to Jessica Simpson back in the early 2000s when she debuted as a solo singer. She had great success. Her debut album alone sold over two million copies in America. As time went on, however, she decided to venture into other things. Back when she was married to
Nick Lachey, Simpson appeared on the reality TV show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica aired on MTV from 2003 to 2005.

While the two later split up, Simpson found further success as an actress and debuted in the film
The Dukes of Hazzard. Aside from her music and film pursuits, Simpson also put her investments toward starting a business. The Jessica Simpson Collection, which marketed fashion and other related merchandise, was launched in 2005. Since then, her brand has managed to earn over a billion in revenue.
