Jaclyn Smith used to be a well-known American actress. Smith is best known for her credit role as “Kelly Garrett” in the iconic television series Charlie’s Angels between 1976 and 1981. She continued to reprise her role with cameo appearances in the Charlie’s Angels franchise’s movie spinoffs. Of course, Smith managed to land several acting roles in other films, including Nightkill, Deja Vu, and many more.

The Charlie’s Angel star definitely showed potential to be the next big star in Hollywood. However, Smith had other plans in mind as she went and pursued a business opportunity in the fashion and clothing industry. Using a partnership with Kmart, Smith managed to start her fashion line called “The Jaclyn Smith Collection.” Since founding her fashion line, she managed to lead her brand into becoming an incredibly lucrative merchandise and licensing empire. Today, Smith is worth $150 million, proving that her decision to pursue business over her acting career was the best decision she’s made.
