Audiences would know actress Catherine Bell best for her role as Lieutenant Colonel Sarah Mackenzie on the series JAG. The show gave her career the boost it needed and helped her secure more notable roles later on, like her appearance on Army Wives as Denise Sherwood. Of course, who can forget her as the loveable Cassandra Nightingale in The Good Witch films and TV series?

Before she got into Hollywood, however, Bell first worked as a model. She had been enrolled at UCLA and pursuing a degree when an offer to model in Japan came. As she was undecided in university for a while, she opted to drop out and grab the chance. The risk she took did pay off, fortunately, and after a successful acting career, she has since moved to produce films. She was co-executive producer for all of The Good Witch movies!
