Melanie Griffith – Film Producer
Actress Melanie Griffith started her acting career back in the 1970s, initially appearing in independent productions before finally breaking into the mainstream in the ‘80s. She is the daughter of iconic actress Tippi Hedren and advertising executive Peter Griffith. Even as a teen, Griffith knew the path to take and enrolled in the Hollywood Professional School. She is among the industry’s most fearless actresses, taking on diverse roles, which worked in her favor. At 17, she starred alongside Gene Hackman in Arthur Penn’s Night Movies.
Griffith later ventured into film production after establishing Green Moon Productions with her then-husband, Antonio Banderas. Founded in 2003, the company produced the film Crazy in Alabama. Together with Banderas, who directed the movie, Griffith starred as a lead. We’re sure her financial advisor would be happy to hear that the company is still doing well.
