Lisa Whelchel’s an American actress, singer-songwriter, and author. She was best known for her portrayal as the preppy and wealthy Blair Warner in The Facts of Life, which made her a popular household name for over nine years. Before this, she made her appearance as a Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. When she was 49 years old, she then joined Survivor Philippines, where she showed to a certain degree that she had skills to survive in the wild.

For her personal life, Lisa had to deal with issues in her marriage and had to hire lawyers. Her stint in Survivor alongside the challenges she faced in her failed marriage has made her stronger and more beautiful. Now at 57 years old and after a roller-coaster life, it indeed helped her to mold her character and perspective to be more understanding and emphatic. She also leans on her Christian values to forgive her past.
