AMANDA BEARSE

The 62-year-old Amanda Bearse was known for her role as neighbor Marcy Rhoades D’Arcy on the Fox sitcom as a Married woman with Children, which aired from 1987 to 1997. She also received recognition for her role in All My Children, a soap opera in 1982. However, acting seemed not to be in Amanda’s plan in the long run. She worked behind the camera and became a director. Her works included Dharma & Greg and MAD TV. This path resulted in her ultimate success in the industry.
