MELISSA GILBERT

The former president of the Screen Actors Guild started her career as a child actress. Today, however, she is a producer, TV director, and politician. As a young actress, she first appeared in a number of guest-starring roles and commercials. She later landed Laura Ingalls Wilder’s role on the NBC series Little House on the Prairie. During the Little House operation, Melissa also worked on other famous TV films like The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank.

Her string of successful projects continued well into her adult years. She even worked as a voice artist for animations like Batman: The Animated Series. Melissa was very prosperous in her chosen career and earned plenty of investment money in her life. At 56 years old, it is amazing how she still looks younger than her actual age. Nowadays, however, she focuses much of her time on endeavors outside of acting.
